Fiddle Courses/Camps

I teach at various courses and camps including Taransay Fiddle Camp, Fiddle Force, Feis Rois, Strathspe Away, Tayside Young Fiddlers, Fidhlearein Eilean an Fhraoich, Alasdair Fraser's fiddle camp @ Sabhal Mor Ostaig and the Niel Gow Festival.

Taransay - July 2007

Taransay Fiddle Camp is held on the beautiful uninhabited island of Taransay, situated off the West coast of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. The course takes place for 5 days in July and is attended by fiddlers from all parts of the world. Tuition focuses on many contrasting fiddle styles as well as piano (Andy Thorburn), tune-writing, Gaelic singing, cello and much much more! Past fiddle tutors include myself, Charlie MacKerron, Allan Henderson, Pete Cooper, Chris Stout, Buddy MacMaster, Iain MacFarlane, Alasdair White and Bridget Law.
